Re-use, upcycle and refurbish...

I try to save as many lampshades as possible from ending up in landfill and I enjoy seeing rather bashed and unloved shades transform into something beautiful and vibrant.

I find that there are quite a few of the 1/2″ washer types of lampshades out there which are, dare I say it, a bit past their best (a bit like me!). But just because the lampshade is a bit worn out doesn’t mean it has to be thrown away. Landfill can wait!

It can be a bit tricky finding these types of fittings on new lampshades in the UK but problem solved… I can simply refurbish your old lampshade for you using your choice of fabric and it’ll be back sitting bright and proud on your much loved lamp before you know it.
