In 1783 from the banks of Loch Tay on a small farm called Remony, Alexander MacNaughton had an idea that would transform his life and the local community. By working with the local wool farmers and spinning their own products, he was able to create quality wool blankets and fabrics that were second to none. A proud tradition that they still continue two centuries later.
